Born in 1999, Secret Effort Dash was
destined for greatness with a pedigree that
speaks for itself. An injury as a yearling nearly ended his career before it started and brought him to Everett Miller and Flying M Ranch. After a year of care, he was declared more sound than ever and began his race career as a three year old. With limited starts, he lit the board several times and earned a speed index of 104. Never happy without a job, Dash came home to try out roping, pole bending, working cattle, even western pleasure! He took every job on with his usual willingness to please. He excelled rapidly at barrel racing and Rochelle swears he trained himself. His tenth to 16th rodeos were 2008 finals, and he drew a check in 5 runs out of 6. We look forward to future successes with this wonderful horse.
